#68 Several more options should be added to the stopwatch Stopwatch Session enhancement 02/02/10

Several more options should be included into the stopwatch. For example, it would be bennifitial to the end-user if Qwitter played a sound, as well as spoke that time was up. This way, if the user missed the speech, they would still be alerted with a sound notification.

#161 Option to show time line and directs only Twitter Session enhancement 05/23/10

A number of us really want to use Qwitter within our internet broadcasting projects. But we have a problem.

Because of duplicated messages, it is slow to read the time line, mentions and directs as separate buffers. Clearly, we need to read all three. We need to read the time line to get context of what is happening. We need to read mentions in the event we are not following someone who has mentioned us, and directs are obvious. Often of course, the time line (home buffer) duplicates a lot of mentions.

At some stage in the future, it would be great to be able to activate an option which shows everything, time line, directs amd mentions, in date and time order as it happens in one buffer. We would love to use it in this context because it is so convenient to use Qwitter irrespective of the application you are in, but at the moment we cannot use it efficiently and as we want to.

Thank you for considering my suggestion.

#175 Would Like to See the Ability to Do More With Lists, Particularly Those of Other People. Twitter Session Qwitter 5 enhancement 06/18/10

As I've created many lists in the latest version of Qwitter, I'd like to see the ability for users to view the lists of other users, and follow either the entire list, or selected individuals from the list, without having to go to the Twitter main page/profile page.

I like the idea Q and I discussed on Twitter of using win+alt+shift+l to bring up the dialog stating "list lists for". Then, I'm thinking maybe a command for implementing the ability to see who's in said list, maybe using control+win+shift+right-bracket as one would to see who the individual follows. Not sure how to incorporate showing, say, tweets from within that list...Unless the timeline command, control+win+i could somehow be used to bring up the list timeline as it would for an individual. And I assume if someone wanted to follow the entire list, say, my sports or politics list, control+win+l could be used as normal when you have the list name highlighted.

Also, I admit I've never viewed my own lists via the Twitter site, but I DO notice that replies people make to me, or to others who aren't on the said list, don't display in the list timeline. For instance, I have a private list for the station I run, and have all my DJ's in it. I'll see some of their tweets in there, but don't see mentions to me, or mentions to others we mutually follow but who aren't on the list, if that makes since. For instance, @mongoose_q is NOT a Mojo staffer, so if @stickbear makes a reply to him, even though most of @stickbear's tweets will show up in the list, that one won't, but WILL show just fine in the home buffer and such.

Hope this all makes sense.

#218 A few suggestions for templates Twitter Session enhancement 08/26/10

I'm wondering if some improvements can be made to the template system. I have two in mind that I think would benefit people a lot.

The first, which is slightly less important, is to enhance the template code itself (add and / or statements, else, perhaps ElseIf?, and so on). I have a few ideas of how this would be done, but I'll leave it to people here unless someone specifically wants me to come out and share my thoughts. I'm an amateur programmer at best, I just know basic concepts.

The second idea I recently thought of, is to have a SoundPlay? function in templates. This would make it possible, for instance, to play a sound when passing a tweet with a particular phrase in it, or more importantly, a tweet with geolocation data or something with a playable audio file attached. In my opinion, this is a lot more efficient than having the screen reader say *audio* or something similar.

While we're talking about templates, there is no default clipboard templates for anything. I realize most people don't care, but if this is easy to implement, I wouldn't mind having it. I have fairly advanced clipboard templates depending on the type of buffer, so it'd be nice not to have to rewrite or copy them whenever I open a new one.

Also this is just an extra suggestion that really doesn't haev to be implemented, but it would be cool to have an actual template on each buffer for the text that is spoken each tie new data is retrieved. $count new post$if(count>1){s} in list tmeline for close friends could be changed to: $count new tweet$if(count>1){s} from close friends. Kind of not a necessity, but it's a thought I had at one point. The announcements have been cleaned up a little in latest source (for instance rather than saying "three new posts in simon818's timeline", it would say "three new posts from simon818",) but it'd be nice to have that flexibility. I'll be interested to hear other people's input on this. I realize the developers have a lot of work to do, so I don't expect this to all be done in the near future, if ever. But I figured I'd put it out there, anyway.
