This is now fixed, although the hoe buffer is visible once again upon restarting. This is necessary for now. however, the filterd buffer is no longer empty.

Added by BH 10/09/2010: The new filtered buffer is now no longer empty. However, when such a buffer is in place, when Qwitter is started it seems to pull 200 mentions, directs and tweets from the people you are following and focus is set at the bottom of each buffer, rather than the previous position being retained.

I'm sorry, I cannot duplicate this; while it is true the focus is at the bottom of the filtered buffer, all other buffers retain their positions and indexes. Are you testing with the latest source?
